Oh my my, where did the time go?
I can tell you: It went to Best friend's wedding -
It went to RA training -
And it went to financial aid headaches. (I don't have a photo for this...but AHB would be sitting at his work computer talking with yet another student.) He actually got a complaint turned into the president's office this week! I am so proud. :) I asked him not to get fired until after we have fully paid for the wedding.
August is always like this for us, and I know blogging would go to the back burner as long as we had students around. When classes start for us (one more week!) things will be busy but at least normal again. We know we can make it one more week!
We have had some exciting things to work on, even in this month of craziness. AHB picked out his wedding band. But, he won't tell me what he got. I didn't get to go with him, and when he came home, he said that I would have to wait to see what he got until the day we get married. What!? I think he was jealous that I have a wedding dress surprise, and he didn't have anything. So, now we have the reveal of his ring. :) I hope it is neon orange. Funny man. He knows it kills me, but I do love surprises.
We also have our wedding invitations well on the way. And they are SO wonderful. I really can't wait for you to see them. Another huge shout out to Kaitlyn Powell. Geesh. This woman couldn't be more talented. So, we will need to have an assembly party once we have all the pieces in order.
Thanks to Daniel Stuby for getting us the awesome room rate for our guests at the Homewood Suites in Forsyth. This is a stellar hotel! We saw it and thoughht it would be waaay too expensive, but Dan is a first class negotiator. He should take William Shatner's job on Priceline.
Anyhow, he got us GREAT rates, and we just have to reserve the block of rooms. Out of town guests, you will LOVE the ammenities at this location!
We still need to solidify the honeymoon, meet with Cindy for decorations, and finish up our vows. Piece. Of. Cake.
Love to all, and thanks for staying with us during the hectic August month.
